What to do when you need repairs
and service calls...
Emergency Repairs:
Emergency situations are those that threaten your health
or safety or may damage your property. They include uncontrollable leaks,
complete plumbing stoppages to the entire house, gas leaks, and other
such events.
Nobody likes plumbing emergencies. Emergencies usually
happen at night or on weekends, are most always messy, and they're always
more costly than scheduled repairs.
When customers call us for emergency service, many times
we discover that what initially seemed to be an emergency repair situation
can be scheduled during regular working hours. That saves you money.
And it gives us a chance to meet and serve you under more relaxed circumstances.
NOTE: If you have a broken water line, locate the shut-off
valve between the break and the fixture. If there is no in-line shut-off,
you may have to shut off the water at the main supply valve. If the
water will be off for an extended period, you should turn the water
heater off, as it may be damaged if it runs dry.
For emergency repairs, call (626) 795-5881, 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week. The dispatcher or plumbing technician will talk
you through the procedures to shut off the water and lessen the chance
of added damage or injury. He will ask questions and try to determine
if the repair can wait until regular hours, or if it must be considered
an emergency.
If an emergency repair is necessary, you will be given
an approximate window when the technician will arrive. If the technician
is going to miss that window because of another emergency that has lasted
longer than planned, he will call and notify you.
When the technician arrives, he will again advise you
of a diagnostic charge to determine the exact nature of the problem
and what it will take to fix it.
Our regular business hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM
to 5 PM. Emergency service outside those hours will be charged at
a higher rate.
Scheduled Repairs or Installation:
We know how valuable your time is to you. Whether you're
a stay-at-home mother or are employed out of the home, we do everything
possible to fit your schedule.
If you have, for example, a running toilet that poses
no immediate problem, but you want to get it fixed at your convenience,
simply call (626) 795-5881 to set up a scheduled repair. Our regular
business hours are Monday through Friday from 8 AM
to 5 PM. The
dispatcher will call the day of the appointment to verify
that you or another adult will be present at the scheduled time. If,
for any reason, the technician is going to be late, he will call and
inform you so you can make better use of your time.
Estimates:
When it comes to copper repipes, new water service, water
heater relocation, remodel work and all other major plumbing jobs, we
waive our standard diagnostic fee. Our estimators will schedule an appointment
at your convenience, meet you on the job site and answer any questions
you may have about your project. We usually follow-up with a written
proposal that will be mailed to you. If you have a question or concern,
please call us to speak with one of our estimators. We will be glad
to answer any questions you may have and to set up an appointment.
